BATL Axe Throwing may have started in a backyard, but it’s become so much more than that. What began as a rainy day activity at a cottage in Southern Ontario has grown over 10 years to be the pioneer of the sport of urban axe throwing across North America.
Founder and CEO Matt Wilson will be speaking at the upcoming TEDxWindsor event on March 25th, talking about how he grew this hobby into a thriving business.
These days, you can find BATL locations all over North America (18, to be exact). Each location boasts the best axe throwing coaches in the world, teaching people the sport of axe throwing in the safe and comfortable environment that we’ve become famous for.
We offer many ways to get engaged, from our famous weekly leagues and walk-in axe throwing sessions, to private group events (perfectly suited for adult birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate team building, and everything in between!).
