Located 1 block from King St. next to Jackson Square, BATL delivers axe throwing to visitors and residents of Hamilton, Burlington, Waterdown and Dundas. BATL Hamilton can host parties from 2 – 85 people.

COVID Proof of Vaccination Regulations

Starting September 22, 2021, all guests will be required to present proof of vaccination and a piece of identification in order to attend their event. You must have received your second vaccine dose 14 days prior to your event date.

    Leagues aren’t just for the pros.

    Our leagues are the perfect excuse to get together with friends, make some new ones, and trash talk each other a little bit while competing. With coaches available to give you tips, we have a league that’s perfect for every experience level.

    Want to bring in your own food?

    Please do! For a plating fee of $3.00 per person, you are welcome to bring food for your guests or have it delivered, as long as it is prepared off-site.

    Outside desserts such as cakes, pies, and cupcakes are exempt from plating fee charge. Celebrate your sweet tooth!

    Stopped by the open session to throw. Picked up the throws pretty easy thanks to coach Jeremy. My son and I had a great time. He showed us some games to play and explained everything clearly. For a first time the hour we spent was sufficient. Will come back.

    BATL was created by our CEO Matt Wilson in his 2006 backyard. What started as a personal passion sparked by a camping trip soon spread through word of mouth in Toronto, and today over 2 million people have experienced the excitement of throwing axes at one of our locations, including our downtown Hamilton facility beside Jackson Square.

    Advanced statistic tracking (http://axescores.com) is provided to all members of the National Axe Throwing Federation and is by far the most sophisticated axe throwing metric tracking system available in the sport of urban axe throwing. When using the Axe Scores app, you can monitor and and run league play while keeping track of just about everything. Stats include (but aren't limited to): average scores per match and per axe, high scores, rubber matches played, perfect games and matches (both natural and supernatural), and many more.
