BATL NOVI
BATL Novi opened earlier this year and is the premier axe throwing facility in metro Detroit. The venue is located at Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk near West Oaks Shopping Centre and is capable of hosting parties ranging from 2 – 100 + people. BATL Novi is our 13th location in North America (serving Metro Detroit, Flint, Lansing, Monroe, Jackson, Ann Arbor and will boast everything that the BATL has become famous for – the best urban axe throwing in the world.
This includes private event bookings for groups of 2 and up (perfectly suited for bachelor/bachelorette parties, adult birthdays, corporate team building events, and much more), in addition to our weekly public walk-in sessions.

BATL Axe Throwing was founded in 2006 in a Toronto backyard, making us the first to pioneer the sport of urban axe throwing. Since then, we have expanded to 18 locations in North America including Toronto, London, Niagara, Calgary, Ottawa, and many more (with even more on the way) – bringing axe throwing to countless guests. Looking for a casual way to get involved with the sport of axe throwing? All BATL Axe Throwing venues offer public walk-in sessions (no reservations required) every weekend. It’s the perfect way to test the water when it comes to axe throwing, with little commitment. Our expert coaches are on hand to guide you the whole way, so whether you’re new to the sport or looking to hone in on your skill BATL Axe Throwing has you covered.

JOIN AN AXE THROWING LEAGUE
If one day of axe throwing doesn’t sound like enough to satisfy you – don’t worry. You’re not alone. When we started back in 2006, BATL Axe Throwing was just that – a league of friends that got together every week in a downtown Toronto backyard to compete and hone their skill. League play will be starting soon in Novi and is the perfect excuse to get out of your house once a week and meet some new friends, all while engaging in some friendly competition.
Our axe throwing leagues run for 7 weeks, completely under the guidance of our resident axe gurus. Each season consists of round-robin style tournament play, where you’ll throw games against other people in the league, culminating in a top 16 double elimination playoff on week 7. Our leagues are suitable for people of all skill levels, with staff on hand at all times ready to give you tips and tricks to make sure that you’re hitting the bullseye. League play falls under the National Axe Throwing Federation umbrella, the worlds foremost governing body of the sport of axe throwing (of which BATL Axe Throwing is a founding member). Being part of the IATF also gives you access to the most advanced statistic tracking in the sport of urban axe throwing. Be awesome. Join a league.
