Ottawa Charity Tournament For Vanier Fire Victims

General Ottawa

This Thursday at 7 PM, the Backyard Axe Throwing League’s Ottawa location will host a charity tournament in support of those who lost their homes (and more) in a string of fires in the Vanier area of the Capital Region two weeks ago.  Admission is $30 dollars, and our axe throwing league members will also be selling food items, with all proceeds going to people in the Vanier community.

The Backyard Axe Throwing League prides itself in being a strong social hub and positive corporate citizen in all communities in which we operate. Each location works directly with local charities on a monthly basis to support axe throwing fundraising activities.  BATL has sponsored dozens of non-profit organizations, including: Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, Dear Jack Foundation, Federate Health Charities Campaign, Easter Seals, the Calgary Hitmen Community Caring program and the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard, to name a few.

If you’d like to request BATL to support an upcoming non profit fundraising event, please contact your nearest venue, or info@batlgrounds.com for eligibility requirements.
