Back in February the Backyard Axe Throwing League hosted the first ever NATF sanctioned National Axe Throwing Championships and All Star Weekend, which hosted league members from NATF participants from across North America.  After the day long tournament with some highly competitive axe throwing, the weekend concluded with Axe Prom – a night for our extended community to dress up and unwind.  You can find photos from that epic night on the BATL Facebook page here.

You may have been to BATL for a private group event (be it for an birthday party, team building exercise, or bachelor/ bachelorette party) the backbone of BATL is in our weekly axe throwing leagues.  Started in a Toronto backyard back in 2007, our leagues have build the community that BATL is famous for.  Each of our leagues runs for 8 weeks, 7 weeks of round robin tournament play followed by a double elimination playoff on week 8.  Our leagues are the perfect way to get out and meet new people while engaging in friendly competition, regardless of your skill level.  Find out more about our leagues here.
