Our skilled coaches are the best at what they do, and will be on hand to guide you one on one in our safe and controlled environment. BATL pioneered the sport of urban axe throwing back in 2006, so it’s no surprise that we’re the worlds most respected axe throwing venue.

With BATL locations in Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, London, Kitchener, Niagara Falls, Pickering, Squamish, Nashville, and Chicago (plus locations opening soon in Scottsdale, Detroit, Dallas, and many more) throwing axes has never been easier. All Backyard Axe Throwing League venues across North America offer public walk-in axe throwing, weekly league play, and private events for groups of 6 and up (perfectly suited for adult birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate team building events, and much more). The Backyard Axe Throwing League pioneered the sport of urban axe throwing in a Toronto backyard in 2007 - 11 years ago. Since then we've grown 13 BATL venues across North America. Word spread like wildfire about the fun and satisfaction experienced when throwing an axe into our targets, and BATL has a strong reputation as the original and best home of axe throwing. We've hosted thousands of guests over the years, resulting in millions of axes thrown within our venue. As such, it's no surprise that BATL has played host to countless celebrity visits over the past years. Advanced Statistics and The IATF

Advanced statistic tracking (http://axescores.com) is provided to all members of the National Axe Throwing Federation and is by far the most sophisticated axe throwing metric tracking system available in the sport of urban axe throwing. When using the Axe Scores app, you can monitor and and run league play while keeping track of just about everything. Stats include (but aren't limited to): average scores per match and per axe, high scores, rubber matches played, perfect games and matches (both natural and supernatural), and many more.
