Hack the North Axe Throwing App Creation

General Kitchener

BATL Kitchener was proud to recently host a team of students from the University of Waterloo as they participated in the annual Hack the North competition.

In the span of 48h, the team developed an Android mobile application named Swing, a performance optimization app that records and analyzes data from each throw.  It takes a rolling average from multiple throws to come up with an axe throwing signature that’s unique to each person.  Watch the following video for more information on what was done.

Amazing job guys – we’re looking forward to having you back next year.
