BATL Staff Sunday with Laura

Meet Laura, a coach at our BATL Kitchener Location. When she isn’t coaching axe throwing, Laura likes to go on hikes with her lab-mastiff Hank, and has been working as a supply teacher for five years. She works in Milton with students with learning disabilities, and in Waterloo Region bouncing across the many high schools. Most recently Laura has been growing a human, due to arrive in the beginning of November (adding one more to the BATL fam).

Laura joined BATL after searching for a part-time job that differed from her regular serving jobs and found an ad online for BATL. She had been once before in Toronto and thought, “this could be a pretty bad ass place to work” – and she was right.  The rest is history.  The Backyard Axe Throwing League philosophy of “be good to each other” is an important one to Laura, and you can see that in the way she interacts with co-workers, guests, and league members.  And we’re glad to have her and her soon-to-be mini human in the family! #BATLStaffSunday
