$4600 Prize Money Axe Throwing Tournament
With IATC 2023 coming up fast, BATL Axe Throwing is pleased to be bringing BATL Royale II to our Vaughn, Ontario location on May 6th and 7th! With our Royale series axe throwing tournaments becoming more and more popular, we here at BATL wanted to provide not only another fun tournament experience, but also some much needed practice for what will be a highly competitive IATC tournament this year! Travel cash is important too, so we’re offering up $4,600 in cash prizes available during our two day event. Here’s everything you need to know about it!
Day 1
Standard Tournament
Starting at 8 AM for check in/practice and a 9 AM start time, we’ll be hosting a Standard Rules tournament! Anyone is open to join this tournament, however we recommend it for beginner/intermediate players who don’t want the stress and precision of the Premier Ruleset. We are paying out up to 4th place, with the top prize being a cool $400! Registration is $80, see our EventBrite to get in on the action!
Big Axe BlackJack
After the conclusion of the Standard Tournament, we’ll be moving into a fun afternoon of Big Axe BlackJack! This event features the popular BlackJack skill, but as the name implies, with a big axe! BlackJack involves you to score 21 points in 10 throws without going over, so it takes a lot of skill to get the math right. The registration fee is $25, with payouts to the top 2 players. Up to $200 is on the line for this fun side event!
Day 2
Main Tournament
To the victor goes the spoils! With $3,000 in cash prizes on the line, this is the tournament you do not want to miss! This tournament will feature the Premier Ruleset, and there are payouts up to 8th place, with a huge $1,000 top prize for the weekend. Registration for this tournament is $100. Check-in and practice will begin at 9 AM with the bracket commencing at 10 AM. Given this will be a good preview to IATC, bring your A-Game!
Around The Galaxy
Rounding out the weekend will be our final skill event: Around The Galaxy! This will be operating similarly to the popular Around The World skill with the addendum of starting at the one clutch, hitting all of your shots across the target as normal, and ending with the opposite clutch. Like Big Axe BlackJack, payouts will go to the top 2 competitors, and a top prize of $200 is open for taking!
