The Home of Axe Throwing

BATL, The Backyard Axe Throwing League was created in the backyard of founder Matt Wilson in 2006.  What started as a personal passion rooted by a camping trip soon spread by word of mouth throughout Toronto, and today over 1 million people have experienced the excitement of throwing axes at one of our venues, including our East Nashville facility near Nissan Stadium.

Party & Corporate Event Ideas

We believe that throwing an epic event in the City of Nashville should be fun AND simple.  That’s why our axe throwing party packages include 1 – 2 hours of axe throwing depending on your group size, flexible food options and intimate space to fit your party’s needs.  Trophies and other merchandise are available as add-ons for an even more amazing experience.

Nashville Axe Throwing Leagues

Our weekly axe throwing leagues are the ideal reason to get together with friends, make a few new ones and engage in a little competition.  With no previous experience necessary you’ll compete individually while receiving tips from our friendly BATL Nashville coaches – and plenty of time to hang out between throwing.  Check out some videos from recent axe throwing competitions.
