The Home of Axe Throwing

BATL, The Backyard Axe Throwing League was created in the backyard of founder Matt Wilson in 2006.  What started as a personal passion rooted by a camping trip soon spread by word of mouth throughout Toronto, and today over 1 million people have experienced the excitement of throwing axes at one of our venues, including our East Nashville facility near Nissan Stadium.

Party & Corporate Event Ideas

We believe that throwing an epic event in the City of Nashville should be fun AND simple.  That’s why our axe throwing party packages include 1 – 2.5 hours of axe throwing depending on your group size, flexible food options and intimate space to fit your party’s needs.  Trophies and other merchandise are available as add-ons for an even more amazing experience.

Axe Throwing Format

For both guests and local residents Nashville, our private axe throwing events begin with instruction and practice (no prior experience necessary!) from the Backyard Axe Throwing League’s expert coaches before starting a round robin and group playoff tournament.
