James Reinelt of “52 Things To Do in Waterloo Region” recently visited BATL’s Kitchener location to experience axe throwing first hand.
We gave James a crash course in the history and game play at the Backyard Axe Throwing League before setting him up with some one-on-one coaching from our expert staff. After James engaged in some friendly competition he was hooked – and he’s hardly the first.
Since opening in 2015, BATL Kitchener has thrived and become a contributing part of the community, partnering with the likes of the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers and comic book festival Tri-Con. As many have come to experience, BATL is a unique and fun destination. You can join an axe throwing league and compete on a weekly basis, or host a private event for any occasion.
