Founder and CEO of the Backyard Axe Throwing League, Matt Wilson, recently took time to speak with BBC World News to shed some light on the phenomenon of axe throwing in North America.

What began in 2006 as a small weekly meeting of friends in a Toronto backyard to participate in some friendly competition has now become a widespread phenomenon.  With 9 urban axe throwing locations across Canada, BATL has been recognized as the premier axe throwing destination since its inception.  All of our locations offer private events and walk in public axe throwing in addition to our renowned weekly leagues.

Check out Matt’s full interview with the BBC here.
